How Intuit Enterprise Suite connects to Kintsugi
Intuit Enterprise Suite runs your books across entities. Kintsugi connects to each entity you choose and handles the tax, so your accounting setup stays as it is.

Connect Intuit Enterprise Suite
In Kintsugi, go to Data Sources, click Browse Integration, and choose Intuit Enterprise Suite. Sign in as an Intuit Enterprise Suite admin, select the entity to connect, and approve access.
Let the first sync finish
Kintsugi pulls in your customers, products and services, invoices, and credit memos.
Add the Kintsugi tax rate
In Intuit Enterprise Suite, add a custom sales tax rate with a name that starts with Kintsugi and a rate of 0. Make your existing tax agencies inactive. Repeat for each entity.
Enable Tax Collection
Click Enable Tax Collection on the connection and finish the setup checklist. Tax collection turns on as soon as you enable it.
What Kintsugi uses from each Intuit Enterprise Suite invoice
| Data | What Kintsugi does with it |
|---|---|
| Invoice line items | Classified for taxability and used to calculate tax |
| Ship-to and bill-to addresses | Used to find the jurisdiction and the rate. Kintsugi uses the correct address for that jurisdiction. |
| Sales tax (returned to Intuit Enterprise Suite) | Written onto the invoice, with a breakdown of the rate and tax amount in the memo |
Kintsugi calculates tax where you have an active registration. For invoices in a jurisdiction where you are not registered, Kintsugi leaves the invoice unchanged.
Who uses Kintsugi with Intuit Enterprise Suite
Mid-market businesses in the US that run more than one legal entity in Intuit Enterprise Suite and want tax handled on the invoice instead of in a spreadsheet afterward.
Finance teams that need nexus, registrations, and filings tracked separately for each entity.
How Intuit Enterprise Suite sales tax works
What Intuit Enterprise Suite does
Intuit Enterprise Suite is Intuit's cloud accounting and ERP software for mid-market businesses with multiple entities.
Where it stops
It is an accounting system. It doesn't monitor your nexus across states, register you, or file and remit your returns.
What Kintsugi adds
Kintsugi calculates tax on each invoice and tracks your nexus. It registers you where you owe, then files and remits on schedule.
