How Test Organizations help you prepare
Explore paid features without commitment. In a Test Organization you can try the full functionality of Kintsugi, including paid-plan features, without entering a credit card. You can work through the app freely and decide whether Kintsugi is the right fit for your business.
Keep test data separate from live data. Test Organizations let you connect test data in a separate environment, so it doesn't skew your nexus thresholds, liability calculations or registration workflows. That's useful if you first connect the test sites of your billing systems to experiment, and later connect live sites. Keeping the two completely separate prevents any crossover.
Start fresh. When you're ready to go live, Test Organizations let you create a brand-new live organization with a clean slate. Use it for your actual registrations, filings and compliance workflows, so your data is accurate from day one.
Delete test data. If you decide to stop testing, it's easy to delete your test data. In as little as 30 days you can remove all test-related information, which gives you full control over your data and keeps your system clean and organized.
Switch between test and live organizations. For businesses that use Test Organizations and live organizations side by side, you can switch with one click, so you are always working in the right environment.
