Kintsugi tracks, reports, and files your Hyperline sales tax

  • TrackFree

    See your nexus, everywhere

Kintsugi checks your Hyperline invoices against registration and reporting thresholds and flags where you have exposure.

  • Report

    Reports from your own invoices

Invoices, line items, and credit notes come across, so your reports rest on what you actually billed.

  • File

    File through Kintsugi

Your synced invoices feed your returns, so you can file through Kintsugi without rebuilding your billing data.

How Hyperline connects to Kintsugi

Kintsugi reads your invoices and credit notes after you approve it in Hyperline. It never writes to your billing. You keep setting tax in Hyperline.

Kintsugi integrations list with connect buttons and exposure status
  1. Start in Kintsugi

Open Data Sources and choose Hyperline.

  2. Approve in Hyperline

Sign in as an admin and approve Kintsugi. There is no API key to create or copy.

  3. Pick your entity and go

Choose the invoicing entity to connect and, if you want, an import start date. Syncing starts right away. Kintsugi assigns product categories for you to approve, flags addresses to fix, and starts watching your thresholds.

What Kintsugi syncs from Hyperline

Data synced from Hyperline and how Kintsugi uses it
SyncedWhat Kintsugi does with it
InvoicesYour final invoices, with line items, for nexus tracking and reports. Draft and open invoices are held as pending until Hyperline finalizes them.
Credit notesLinked to the original invoice, so refunds net out correctly
CustomersName, email, billing address, and tax ID where present, plus whether the customer is exempt
ProductsYour product catalog, which Kintsugi categorizes for tax

Kintsugi reads invoice status to tell whether a sale counts, so it does not import payments as a separate record.

Connect Hyperline your way

Read-only connection

Kintsugi signs in through Hyperline's own approval screen and only reads invoices, credit notes, customers, and products. It does not write to Hyperline, and it never changes your Hyperline tax settings. You can deactivate the connection at any time, and the data already synced stays in Kintsugi.

Who uses Kintsugi with Hyperline

  • SaaS and subscription teams who want one view of nexus

Flat-fee, per-seat, and usage-based invoices all land as invoices, so they sit in one place.

  • Teams with more than one invoicing entity

Kintsugi keeps one connection per entity, so you connect each one on its own and keep each legal entity's liability separate.

  • Finance teams who want to file from clean data

Credit notes link to the original invoice, and product and address issues surface in one list.

How tax works with Hyperline

What Hyperline does

Hyperline runs your products, customers, subscriptions, and invoices, and it is where you set tax for your invoices.

Where Kintsugi stops

This connection reads invoices and credit notes only. It does not calculate tax inside Hyperline and it does not send tax or VAT rates back to your billing.

What Kintsugi adds

Kintsugi imports your invoices and credit notes and uses them to track nexus, build reports, and file your returns.

What is not imported

  • Payments and transactions are not imported. Invoice status tells Kintsugi whether a sale counts.
  • Customer shipping addresses are not imported. Kintsugi uses the billing address.
  • Subscriptions, plans, wallets, and usage events are not imported. Their amounts reach Kintsugi on your invoices.
  • Document-type invoices are not imported, because they are not tax documents.
